Lake Level 711.89

Water Temp 80 degrees

Crappie: Fair

Lots of fish on brush piles in 15’ to 20’ of water.  Open water Crappie we caught were in 14 to 20 feet of water, 10-12 feet down using black and chartreuse jigs and minnows worked the best for us. Fish were scattered, some on the bottom but the bite was aggressive.

Bass:  Fair

Fished the cleaner water by the dam 3 – 5 feet of water is where we caught our fish. Top water and small plastics. We caught our fish on the sides of the bushes.

Catfish – Good – No Change

Catfish are good mostly channel or channel ledges. We caught 20 fish, mostly 2-4lbs. very scattered.

Hybrids – Great

We fished open water looking for structure changes. We found fish in 20 to 30 feet of water. White shad 3 – 8” bait worked well.
