Report by Ethan Decker out of Sterett Creek

Lake Level 709, Water Temp 60 degrees, Lake is Muddy

Crappie: Fair – Good

Bank bite slowed due to the rain. The fish were in 5-15 feet of water and most of the fish were 2-8 feet down. Most of the Crappie were in the tops of the trees. Black and Chartreuse jigs worked best. We caught our limits in 4 to 5 hours.

Main lake – Brush piles fishing slow.

Bass: Good

The cleaner the water the better the bite. We caught most of our fish on a crawdad and lizard on the bottom with a slow retrieve

Catfish – Good

The bite was good with lots of nice cats from 3-6 lbs. Most fish were in 2-4′ of water.
