Crappie: Great – NO CHANGE
Fished Osage and Grand arm last week and fish were everywhere. We caught our limits every day in a few hours. The fish are everywhere, brush piles, trees, open water, bushes. Lots of fish on brush piles in 15′ to 20′ of water. Open water Crappie we caught were in 5-10′ deep in 7-30′ of water using black and chartreuse jigs and minnows, the bite was aggressive.
Bass: Great
Buzz baits and top water for the early bite, fished the Osage and Grand, look for structure on points. Bass stacked together where there was current. Carolina rig on and bushes. Most fish caught in 8-10 feet of water. Most fish post spawn, some still spawning.
Catfish – Good
Catfish are good mostly channels and ledges, we caught 20 fish mostly 2-6lbs. in 20 – 40 feet of water. Below the dam is good now.
Hybrids – Great
We fished any change in structure, points, humps, holes, etc. We used large swim baits, minnows, large jigs, and such. Look for shad and you will find the hybrid’s. Should
Be easy to find with side and down imaging.
