Jordan Leer

Jordan Leer grew up on the farm just a little ways southeast of Truman Lake. He was a bit of a late bloomer getting on Truman, fishing it for the first time in his late teens, but he’s been an avid angler ever since he could walk. He started fishing below the dam and gradually worked his way up to buying a boat.

In 2019, Jordan began taking his first guide trips on the lake. He had spent several years learning the lake on his own and with others who are experienced on the lake. Now, he is on the water every week taking multiple trips chasing catfish, hybrids, white bass, and some crappie as well.

He also has his Captain’s license and is fully insured, which is very important when it comes to selecting a guide.

When you go out on a trip with Jordan, you can expect to spend 5 hours or more on the water. He has all the equipment you will need. The only thing you need to bring are snacks and drinks and a cooler to take home the fish fillets after your trip.

Jordan runs a Tracker 2072 Grizzly 2016 model, which has a 150 Mercury 4 stroke engine. It’s 21.5 feet long and 8 feet wide, making it an extremely comfortable boat and can accommodate up to 4 people additional people.

He runs Garmin electronics at the bow and Lowrance at the dash. He is familiar with all arms of the lake and will be chasing the bite wherever it’s the best. He is available to book all year long.
