6/2/23 Bass are Spawning Around the Timber in the Average Joe Bass Tournament on Truman Lake 4-23-23 Vlog

Ride along with Dave in the Average Joe Team event….Yep this a team event 1 week from one of the largest tournaments to com to Truman lake and my normal Joe Bass Team partner Gary the fish whisperer has got family stuff going on and can’t fish. Yesterday was Saturday…..Blake Hart fished in the USA Bassin and we Won….but Blake works every Sunday and can’t fish today….it’s the last video on my channel go check it out…..This is the very next day and it’s gotten even colder overnight..2nd day after the cold front…and I mean cold almost in the 30’s…42 degrees air temp and 58 degree water…down from 64ish…This could cause a guy to stub his toe in bass fishing..thankfully the spawn is on and they won’t leave…at least completely…Stay focused and continue to grind it out…The Jewel jig…earned my love…Peanut butter/Smoke is the color of choice with a zoom speed vibe in cinnamon/purple and dipped dyed orange…normally chartreuse is my first choice but this clear water has let me see a whole bunch of perch or bream that have orange on their bottom fins very bright..almost fluorescent so it seemed fitting at the time…I constantly remind myself all that history in your head can hurt as much as it can help…yep….Old dogs must learn new tricks….New technology…new baits…new conditions….Maybe that’s what I love the most…not sure but you can tell its my happy place ….Enjoy the video…
